Envelope #46 (resend): How AI (and a little humor) helped me survive plan check hell
Oops… FYI there was an error in one of the links in the email I sent earlier. Here’s the corrected version.
Happy Friday! Andy from Back of the Envelope here.
Today I want to share a strategy I’ve been testing: using AI and humor to cope with stress.
This came about while dealing with some plan check comments on a project that seemed stuck in an endless loop.
You ever been there?
You’re responding to what should be the final outstanding comment, but instead, the email chain gets longer… and longer… and now it’s weeks later, no one remembers what the original issue was, and somehow one comment has multiplied into three.
It’s frustrating. And it disrupts your other work because now you’ve got to pause, rewind, and dive back into an issue you thought was settled weeks ago.
Well… I don’t have a magic fix for this.
But I do have something that might lighten the load.
A way to inject a bit of levity that helps you feel better about the stress, so you can re-engage with less dread and more energy.
Let’s go!
